Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Upon arrival in Tangier, meet your private driver and start your journey south through the Rif Mountains. Stop in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City,” known for its blue-painted streets, local artisan shops, and stunning mountain views. Enjoy free time to explore the medina, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and surrounding viewpoints. Overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen with breakfast.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel east through scenic landscapes toward Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the spiritual heart of the country. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon. Spend the evening strolling through the medina or relaxing in your riad. Overnight in Fes with breakfast.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. Visit the Royal Palace gates, then explore Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the renowned Al Quaraouiyine University, Al Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. In the afternoon, explore the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and enjoy panoramic views over the city. Optional visits to traditional craft workshops are available. Overnight in Fes with breakfast.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Camel Trek)

After breakfast, depart Fes toward the Sahara Desert, passing through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Descend into the stunning Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and dramatic gorges. Continue southeast to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a spectacular sunset, followed by dinner, traditional Berber music, and stargazing around the campfire. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel to Merzouga and continue by vehicle to Rissani, visiting the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum. Drive through the Todra Gorges and the scenic Dades Valley, passing unique rock formations and panoramic viewpoints. Continue to Ouarzazate, passing by the historic Taourirt Kasbah, then on to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for breathtaking views and a visit to a local argan oil cooperative. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and transfer to your accommodation or Marrakech Menara Airport for departure. End of services.
