Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora (Desert camp):

The road trip starts by driving towards Kasbah Aitbenhadou via the highest pass in Africa Tizi N’ Tichka (Altitude 2260 m) while enjoying the super views of the giant High Atlas Mountains with the panoramic Berber villages. We continue the journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou.

Situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River, This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 famous movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Game of thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator.

Continuing the road to Zagora passing by the Anti Atlas mountains, Berber villages of Agdz and the amazing Draa Valley with its millions palm trees which is considerded the largest one in Morocco.

In the afternoon we arrive to Zagora desert where you get ready and accompanied by a camelguide to go for an authentic camel trek experience of around 90 minutes where you can catch the sunset in the on top of your camel and spend a memorable night with millions of shiny stars, enjoy a Berber dinner, drum party and sleep in a traditional nomadic tent.

Day 2: Zagora Desert – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Morning sunrise in the middle of the desert is something not to be missed. Camel trekking ride back to Zagora to reach your vehicle and start your trip back to Ouarzazate through the Draa valley and Agdz.in Ouarzazat we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt or the old city of Ouarzazat which was the essential residence of the Pacha of Marrakech in the south.

After lunch in Ouarzazate we continue by the High Atlas mountains to reach the fertile and rich village of Telouet or the Glaoui’s home-town where you can discover the salt mines, then arrive back to Marrakech and drop off aprox at 07:00 pm
