lUpon your arrival in Casablanca, you’ll be greeted and transported to your accommodation. Take some time to relax and get oriented to the city. In the evening, explore the iconic landmarks like the Hassan II Mosque and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Corniche. Overnight in a hotel in Casablanca.
Enjoy a comfortable private transfer from Casablanca to your accommodation in Chefchaouen, which takes about five and a half hours. Along the way, your driver will stop in the capital city of Rabat. Make your first stop at the Royal Palace of Rabat and the medieval fortification of the Chellah Necropolis, where you can wander the Roman and Islamic ruins. Stroll through the Medina (old town) to find the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohamed V. This abandoned 12th-century project features the minaret of an incomplete mosque and some 200 columns. Stop at the souks (markets) to peruse local crafts and goods, such as rugs, spices, slippers, jewelry, leather, and more. Then head to the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens and enjoy the serene space away from the crowds. End at the grand door of the Kasbah des Oudaïas, the gate out of Rabat’s old city center. The Kasbah des Oudaïas is home to the city’s oldest mosque and Musée des Oudaïas handicrafts museum. Continue down the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. After settling into your accommodation, head out to enjoy the afternoon in this bustling city. Because Casablanca’s Medina is much younger than other cities, it’s not a must-see. Instead, explore the Hobous, the city’s “New Medina.” Established in the 1930s by the French, the charming streets feature art deco architecture. Pop into some artisan shops to browse local crafts, including olives, textiles, and spices. The city’s premier attraction, Hassan II Mosque, is a massive complex that includes a museum, baths, Koranic school, library, and a prayer room. The mosque’s 650-foot (200-m) minaret is the tallest structure in Morocco and the tallest minaret in the world. You can take tours of the interior in the morning, where you can admire ornate designs of beautiful green hues and mosaic tiles, wood, marble, and carved stone. Stroll down the beachside promenade to get views of the mosque at sunset. Continue to Chefchaouen, where you can check into your accommodation.
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns. Known for its blue and white painted buildings, Chefchaouen is a popular destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat, hikers and photographers. The tour will take you through the medina, where you will be able to discover the narrow streets and explore the monuments and landmarks such as the Kasbah, the Great Mosque and the Spanish Mosque. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to see traditional crafts being made at the local souks, such as pottery, weaving and traditional clothing. The tour also includes a visit to the viewpoint of the city, which offers a panoramic view of the town and the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen is a great destination to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse in the peaceful and charming atmosphere of the town. After breakfast, travel to Fes, You’re back on the road today as you take your private transfer from Chefchaouen to Fes, a drive of just over two hours. Along the way, your driver will stop in the imperial city of Meknes and the Roman ruins at Volubilis. After saying goodbye to the scenic Rif Mountains, your first stop is Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. Wander through the massive complex, exploring large merchant homes with visible heating systems, temples, and many colorful mosaics. This town was one of the most remote parts of the Roman Empire, with the Romans ruling about 200 years and leaving in 285 CE. The people of Volubilis grew and exported wheat for the rest of the empire. They sent many wild animals (lions, bears, elephants) to the capital for feasts, celebrations, and sacrifices, sadly wiping out much of the wildlife population. Next, continue to Meknes, the imperial city of Moulay Ismail. Under Moulay Ismail’s reign (1672–1727 CE), Meknes grew from a small town to a magnificent capital. Enjoy strolling through the compact Medina, which is less busy than other cities and offers a more laid-back atmosphere. Other than the scattered souks (markets), you can visit the Marinid-era architecture at the 14th-century Medersa Bou Inania and the impressive 19th-century palace of Dar Jamaï. In the Ville Impériale area, explore gardens, palaces, the impressive gate of Bab al-Mansour, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. Your final stop is Fes. Before settling into your traditional riad accommodation, drive up to the Marinid Tombs, where you can enjoy a lovely panorama of the old city. On the hillside below, you may see leather drying in the sun. Then make your way into the bustling Medina and enjoy navigating Fes’ charming streets. Overnight at your Riad with breakfast.
After breakfast, a local guide will pick you up from your Riad to explore Fes Old Medina. Enjoy walking through its narrow alleys and historic gates. The tour starts at Bab Boujloud, one of the oldest gates in the medina, and includes visits to the Madrasa Bou Inania and Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world. A visit to Fes El-Bali isn’t complete without seeing the famous Fes Tanneries, “Tannery Chouara.” After lunch, the tour continues to the Royal Palace and concludes at a panoramic viewpoint where you can take pictures of the entire old Medina before being dropped back at your hotel or Riad.

Enjoy a drive through the dunes of Erg Chebbi by Jeep to discover the hidden secrets of this magical land; meet with the local nomads and enjoy a cup of tea with a local family, visit the Gnawa house in Khamleya village to explore the spiritual healing music; Traditionally practiced throughout Morocco and originating from the sub-Saharan region, Gnaoua music is a spiritual music at its roots, although popular maâlems (master musicians) are making the music quite mainstream. Headed by a maâlem with a group of musicians and dancers, the beats are repetitive yet lively. Afternoon, you can rent a sand board and test your skills on the dunes, (around the sand dunes), join a quad ATV tour (Optional and at own arrangement) Late afternoon, Climb up the nearest sand dune to watch the colorful display on the sand sea as the sun sets to the west, then head back to camp for dinner and a night by the campfire enjoying traditional Berber music from the locals. Before you head to bed, take a look at the unhindered night sky. You will meet your camels and trek into the heart of the dunes to your camp for the night.
On this day you will commence your morning with a camel ride back to Merzouga village, indulging in the breathtaking beauty of the desert sunrise. After a hearty breakfast, our expedition progresses to Rissani and Erfoud, known for its fascinating fossils. Traverse the palm tree groves of Ziz Valley on the way to Tinghir and the renowned Todra Gorges, appreciated by rock climbers. The day culminates in Boumalne Dades, where dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Dades Gorges.
Passing through Boumalne Dades, a major town and bridging point over the Dades River, you reach El Kelaa M’gouna. Here the intensely cultivated plots of farmland are bordered by rose bushes, which are used in the cosmetic industry to make rose water and rose oil. In May a Rose Festival takes place, celebrating the year’s production. A quick stop at a rose women cooperative to see the process of converting the petals into the water and oil, and sample some of the products. Along the side of the road you may see boys selling various crafts made from the roses. Ouarzazate. The growing town of Ouarzazate is a common stopping point along the desert routes, as it offers a bit more access than some of the nearby smaller towns, such as Ait Benhaddou (with less charm and quite). The town was made popular by the growing movie industry, and you have an option to tour one of the 2 movie studios if you like (Atlas Corporation Studios or CLA Studios), including an up-close look at some props and sets.Aït Benhaddou is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site, it has been featured in many movies, portraying landscapes all over the desert, Africa, and the middle east. Some popular film credits include Lawrence of Arabia, The Last Temptation of Christ, Alexander, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Prometheus, American Sniper, and Game of Thrones.. People believe that the old ksar dates from the 11th century when it held an important position along the trans-Saharan trade route between Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and the southern desert. As you head up and over the High Atlas, look out for the highest peak, Mount Toubkal, which stands at 13,671 feet (4,167 m). Near the top of the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, you can enjoy great panoramic views over the mountain range, as well as the road ahead that snakes down the mountainside. The first town after the pass is Taddert where you can stop at an oil cooperative to learn how olives are processed for a variety of uses. Taste a few products, then head back on the road. After all the tranquillity of the mountains and the desert, soon you will be in the midst of the hustle, bustle, and clamor of vibrant Marrakech. Overnight in hotel with breakfast.

You can head to the beach and see windsurfers and kitesurfers while strolling along the sands. Later, head back to the local markets for souvenirs, or stop in at a local restaurant for a delicious traditional meal. Relax at your accommodations this evening at your riad.
After breakfast, leave Essaouira and follow the scenic coastal road across the Atlantic to Casablanca. Your first stop is Safi, famous for ceramic shops. Explore the warm clay of the city before heading to El Jadida. Here, visit the old Portuguese fortress town of historic Mazagan and its impressive reservoirs. Continue your journey to Casablanca, where you will spend the night. Overnight in hotel with breakfast.
