Day 1: Tangier – Akchour – Chefchaouen

Upon arrival in Tangier, meet your private driver and travel into the Rif Mountains. Stop at Akchour for a scenic hike to the waterfalls and natural rock bridge (moderate level, optional swim). Continue to Chefchaouen in the afternoon. Evening stroll through the blue medina and Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen with breakfast.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Free Day / Relaxation

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Chefchaouen. Explore hidden blue alleys, visit the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views, or relax in a local café. Optional activities include short hikes, photography walks, or hammam experience. Overnight in Chefchaouen with breakfast.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen toward Fes. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO World Heritage Site), followed by Moulay Idriss, Morocco’s holiest town. Continue to Meknes to see Bab Mansour Gate and imperial city highlights. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon. Overnight in Fes with breakfast.

Day 4: Full-Day Guided Tour of Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes. Explore Fes el-Bali, Al Quaraouiyine University, Al Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the Chouara Tanneries. Afternoon visit to the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and panoramic viewpoints. Optional artisan workshop visits. Overnight in Fes with breakfast.

 

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt

Depart after breakfast and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and walk through the Azrou Cedar Forest to see Barbary macaques. Continue through scenic mountain landscapes to Midelt. Overnight in Midelt with dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, continue south through the Tizi n’Talghomt Pass and along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views. Pass through Erfoud, known for fossils and date palms. Arrive in Merzouga near the Erg Chebbi dunes in the afternoon. Overnight in a desert lodge with dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Merzouga – 4×4 Desert Experience – Camel Trek

Today is dedicated to Sahara adventure. Explore the Erg Chebbi dunes by 4×4, visit nomadic families, Gnawa villages, and fossil sites. In the afternoon, ride camels into the dunes. Enjoy sunset, dinner, Berber music, and stargazing in a luxury desert camp. Overnight in desert camp with breakfast and dinner.

Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early for an optional sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel. Visit the traditional Rissani market, then continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges for a walk between canyon walls.
