8 days adventure through Morocco, departing from the vibrant city of Marrakech. This journey takes you through a medley of landscapes, ancient cities, and cultural treasures, providing an unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival at the airport of Marrakech, you will meet our representative who will provide a brief overview of the attractions to visit in Marrakech then take you to your accommodation.
After breakfast at the riad, we start our sightseeing journey in the city of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco ''. It was founded in the XII century by the Almoravidian dynasty. We will explore the most important cultural and historical heritage. You will have the chance to visit the Saadiyin Tomb, Majorelle Gardens and Koutoubia Tower. Moreover, our guide will lead you to see the Bahia square, the Souk of the city and then you will join the famous square of the medina where you will see and discover the fascinating snake-charmers, story-tellers, musicians... In the afternoon, you will have free time to walk around and discover other places by yourself.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad In Marrakech at 8 am, and start the day with escaping the bustling city of Marrakech to dades gorge via the high atlas mountains. The Atlas Mountains make up the largest massif in the Atlas chain .It is also the highest mountain range in the north of Africa. It forms an impregnable barrier some 800 km long and, in certain places, 100 km wide. Consisting of great massifs rising to heights of 3000–4000 m. then proceed to visit the world heritage site the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which stands on the left bank of the valley of Mellah. It has often been used as a film location such for Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Game of thrones. After having you lunch, the journey will take you through the road of one thousand Kasbahs, driving though the town of Skoura, and on to the fascinating valley of roses which is known for its roses that were brought by the pilgrims from Damascus on their way back from Mecca. Then continue to Dades Gorge where you spend the night.
After having breakfast our second journey begins with driving towards the most impressive cliffs in the south of Morocco, the Gorge of Toudra with its sheer cliffs 300 m high rise up dramatically. They are well known to experienced mountaineers .having a walk through it to admire beauty and to be refreshed by its breeze. Then heading to tinjdad and having a stop for lunch there. Later on we drove to reach the town of Mellab which is known for the berber handcaft clothes and having the chance to be dressed like them and having pictures. We continue to reach the oasis of Tafilalt which is known for its large palm groves (800,000 palm trees) and it was once a welcome stopping place for trade caravans. Afterwards, drive to the Erg Chebbi dunes where you will have your camel ride through the dunes to reach your desert camp. Having time for sandboarding and enjoying the sunset. The most unforgettable night of your whole life is waiting for you.
You will wake up early to watch the sunrise at the dunes before Having breakfast and shower then driving to the main road where you will meet your driver then leave for Errachidia via Erfoud to the Ziz valley. Lunch will be at Midelt. After which, we will pass through the cedar Forest at Azrou and the Middle Atlas where you will see the Barbarian Apes then heading to Ifrane the European city ending in Fes.
After breakfast in the riad/hotel, you will visit the old medina of Fez, the most ancient of Imperial Cities anywhere in the Muslim world. It is the city that has been the spiritual and political capital of Morocco for over 1000 years since its inception by Moulay Idriss. The local guide will reveal for you the secrets of Fez and show you the most important historic monuments. We will make sure that you visit places such as: The Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, the Tomb of the Merinids, the 14th century Bouinania School, ceramics and handicrafts. You will have lunch in Medina and then explore its fascinating cobbled lanes, richly decorated Attarin School, the Neijarin, Dar Batha/Museum of Moroccan Arts and Crafts, Medersa and the Kairaouine Mosque.... You will see the medieval tannery and the infinite variety of handcraft merchandise.
After breakfast in the riad/hotel, we will drive towards the capital of Morocco. There you have the chance the kasbah of Oudaya and its beautiful gardens, This Kasbah of the Oudaya is located at Abou Regreg River. It was built during the reign of the Almohad dynasty in 1150 AD. The Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II and Hassan Tower which is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat constructed in 1195 AD. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world with the mosque. Later on that day we will drive to the economical capital Casablanca to visit the Great Mosque Hassan II where you will meet a fascinating example of Moroccan architecture. It is the largest mosque in the kingdom and the fifth largest mosque in the world. It stands on a promontory looking out on the Atlantic, and has space for 25,000 worshippers. A further 80,000 can be accommodated in the mosque's adjoining grounds for a total of 105,000 worshippers present at any given time at the Hassan II mosque. Its minaret is the tallest one in the world at 210 m.
After breakfast in the riad/hotel, we will drive back to Marrakech. Drop off at Marrakech airport end of our services
